The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) is the faith formation process for adults who desire to join the Catholic faith. Autumn is almost here! Let's celebrate by gathering around the dinner table with our families and friends, in the Social Hall, for another potluck feast, while joining in fellowship with our SJV family and fostering friendships. Today, is the "Entrance into Catechumenate". Those who profess their faith in Jesus Christ and sincerely desire to enter the church, celebrate with the worshipping assembly, the beginning of their journey of faith, as they participate in The Rite of Acceptance into the Order of Catechumens and the Rite of Welcoming of Candidates, at the 10:00am Mass. After the Mass, the Catechumens will watch the movie, "Ocean of Mercy", in the Divine Mercy room.
