Mental Health Symposium

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, St. John Vianney Catholic Church is sponsoring a mental health symposium:

May 7, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM                 Mass followed by lite breakfast: 9 - 10 AM        Speakers with Q & A: 10:00 - 11:30 AM
           

Guest speakers include: Psychiatrists Thomas Gaughan, MD and Thelma Camus, MD; Fr. Ignatius Mazanowski, Medical Ethics Director, Phoenix Diocese; and Rose Boerner, NAMI Yavapai.

Topics include: risk factors, recognizing symptoms, coping with loneliness/depression, suicide prevention, advocacy/resources, church teachings on suicide, and spirituality/depression.
