Dear friends in Christ:
Father Ignatius and Deacon Dennis invite you to join us and other parishioners as we visit the wonderful Shrine of Ars in southeastern France, where our patron, St. Jean Marie Vianney brought so many souls to Christ and where his miraculous incorruptible body remains. Come and see the places where the world was changed and countless souls touched by St. John Vianney. We also visit Nevers where we celebrate Mass at the site of repose of St. Bernadette You will also have the opportunity to visit other wonderful, beautiful and inspiring locales in France, including Paris, Chartres, Nevers and Lyon.
A special inspiration for anyone involved with the Saint Vincent de Paul Society we will have Mass the sight of repose of St. Vincent de Paul. Also, in this building is a number of artifacts of Saints Vincent, Louise and Catherine of Laboure’. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Come and experience something truly special: a pilgrimage to places of historic significance, physical beauty and spiritual richness.
Our pilgrimage will offer wonderful meals, excellent guides, comfortable bus and excellent hotels. Of course, there will be free time for exploring and yes, even shopping!
For Christians, the notion of a Pilgrimage is important. From the earliest days of the Church, Pilgrimages have been an important part of a life of a Catholic. A pilgrimage leads us to sacred sites of our faith, in order to inspire us with the lives of holy men and women who allow our faith to be deepened. I hope that you will be able to join us on this pilgrimage to France.
In pace Christi,
Father Ignatius Mazanowski and Deacon Dennis Sullivan
